Every year, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities reminds us of the strength, resilience, and limitless potential within every member of our society. It is a moment to celebrate diversity, amplify inclusion, and reaffirm our collective commitment to removing barriers that hinder full participation for persons with disabilities. Oyo State continues to champion policies and programmes that promote accessibility, empowerment, and equal opportunities for all.

At the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion,in line with our mandate and responsibility for the people living with different challenges,we remain dedicated to creating an environment where persons with disabilities can thrive, contribute meaningfully, and enjoy their rights with dignity. Our vision is a society that embraces everyone where differences are acknowledged, respected, and transformed into avenues for growth and innovation.

Next year God willing and in line with its mandate and responsibility for the entire broad spectrum of the vulnerable demographics of the state, the Ministry will be churning out different interventions with a view to sustainably empowering the Physically Challenged among us

Today, we call on communities, institutions, and stakeholders to join hands in building a more compassionate and inclusive Oyo State. Let us continue to support, uplift, and advocate for the well-being of persons with disabilities, ensuring that no one is left behind.

Together, we can create a future where inclusion is not just a policy but a lived reality for all.

Hon (Mrs) Toyin BALOGUN
