

Hon. (Dr) Dawood Akanni Olalere, popularly known as D-Al-Ameen, a candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the House of Representatives, has inaugurated his campaign committee ahead of the 2027 general elections, with a pledge to promote inclusive and people-oriented governance, named MOGAJI SULAIMON OYENIRAN as the Director General (DG).


Speaking during the inauguration, D-Al-Ameen charged members of the committee to work with dedication, integrity and a strong commitment to the interests of the people.


He said his ambition was driven by the desire to provide quality representation, strengthen grassroots engagement and ensure that the concerns of constituents are effectively presented at the National Assembly.


The candidate emphasized the importance of inclusiveness, noting that young people, women, professionals, community leaders and other stakeholders must have a voice in the political process.
According to him, effective representation goes beyond politics and elections, stressing that elected representatives must remain accessible and responsive to the needs of their constituents.
Hon. D-Al-Ameen urged members of the campaign committee to take the campaign to the grassroots and engage residents across communities, while promoting issue-based politics devoid of bitterness and personal attacks.
He expressed confidence that the ADC would provide a credible platform for Nigerians seeking meaningful political change, adding that his campaign would be anchored on accountability, transparency, development and service to the people.

Members of the newly inaugurated committee pledged to work collectively towards achieving the campaign’s objectives and mobilising support across the constituency.
The inauguration marks the commencement of a broader grassroots mobilisation effort as political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 elections.
