The GSMists in Ibadan NorthWest Local Government have congratulated the newly elected executives of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) following the successful congress held at Oke’badan LCDA, Eleyele, Ibadan, on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
In a goodwill message, the group commended the peaceful conduct of the congress, describing it as a reflection of the unity and maturity that has continued to define the PDP family in the local government.
The GSMists applauded party stakeholders, leaders, and delegates for their cooperation and sense of responsibility, which ensured the emergence of an inclusive executive team representing all 11 wards in the local government.
They further congratulated the new chairman, Hon. Kazeem Fantola, and his team, while appreciating the outgoing chairman, Alhaji Lukman Adesina, for his impactful eight-year tenure that contributed significantly to the success of the party at both the state and federal levels.
“Ibadan NorthWest has once again demonstrated that it remains a model of unity and organisation within the PDP. We are confident that the new executives will build on the existing foundation and take the party to greater heights,” the group declared.
The GSMists reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Governor Seyi Makinde’s leadership and pledged to work hand-in-hand with the new party executives to further strengthen PDP’s grassroots structure in Ibadan NorthWest.
