Dr Hafeez Amuda Kingsway, an aspirant for the 2027 Akinyele State Constituency I seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly and Coordinator of the Kingsway Progressive Movement, has congratulated Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole, popularly known as Wolekanle, on his appointment as Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde.
In his congratulatory message, Kingsway described the appointment as a recognition of Wolekanle’s political experience, administrative capacity and understanding of grassroots mobilisation. He expressed confidence that the new Chief of Staff would bring his wealth of experience to bear in supporting the governor’s administration and coordinating government activities.
Wolekanle, who previously served as Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, was appointed on Monday to replace Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, who is also from Ogbomoso. Before his recent roles, Akinwole served as a council secretary, a position that contributed to his experience in local administration and grassroots political engagement.
Kingsway wished the new Chief of Staff success in his new assignment, expressing optimism that his experience across local government administration and state-level governance would contribute to the effective implementation of Governor Makinde’s programmes and policies for the people of Oyo State.
