The Lagos State governorship candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Prince Laja Adeoye MPD, has announced that he received the support of the party’s South-West coordinating leadership for the Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign Council during a meeting held at the zonal office in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Adeoye disclosed this after meeting with the coordinating leaders representing Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Ekiti, Ondo and Oyo states. The delegation was led by the South-West Campaign Coordinator, Olorogun Dr Eddy Olafeso, as part of ongoing consultations and engagement among party stakeholders ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to Adeoye, the meeting provided an opportunity to seek the support and cooperation of the regional leadership for his political ambition and the campaign’s broader objectives. He described the response from the leaders as encouraging, expressing confidence that the endorsement would lead to concrete actions and coordinated activities in the coming days.

The APM governorship candidate reaffirmed his commitment to mobilising support for Governor Seyi Makinde and Alhaji Lawal Musa Daura, alongside other party candidates, across Lagos State. He said the campaign would focus on strengthening its political structures and coordinating efforts among stakeholders as preparations continue for the 2027 elections.
