The Laja Adeoye Campaign Organisation (LACO) has stepped up its legal and electoral preparedness with the appointment of a prominent legal practitioner, Oluwatobilola Adeyanju, Esq., as Special Adviser on Legal Affairs.
The appointment, announced on Thursday by the campaign’s Coordinator, Otunba S. A. Alebiosu, is seen as a strategic move to strengthen the legal machinery of the campaign ahead of the unfolding political contest.
Adeyanju, a First Class graduate of Bowen University, is a seasoned legal practitioner with focused expertise in litigation and election petition tribunal practice. He also received professional training at a leading law firm of international standing and has, alongside his team, recorded notable victories in several legal matters.
Describing the appointment as part of efforts to build a formidable campaign structure, the organisation said Adeyanju’s wealth of legal experience would provide the campaign with strong professional counsel on electoral, litigation and other legal matters.
The development comes as political activities surrounding the Laja Adeoye campaign gather momentum, with the organisation signalling its determination to put in place a strong team capable of navigating the legal and political dimensions of the contest.
Alebiosu said LACO remained committed to assembling a team of competent professionals across critical areas, adding that more appointments to key positions would be announced as the campaign advances.
He called on supporters and stakeholders to welcome Adeyanju to the campaign organisation, describing his appointment as a valuable addition to the team.
