Aare Hon. (Dr.) Dawood Akanni Olalere, popularly known as D-Al-Ameen, the ADC candidate for the House of Representatives, Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency, and Oyo State House of Assembly Member representing Ibadan Northwest State Constituency, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across Oyo State and Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Maulud celebration.
D-Al-Ameen urged Muslim faithful to use the occasion commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to reflect deeply on his exemplary life, teachings and enduring legacy of peace, compassion, humility, honesty, justice and service to humanity.
He stressed that the essence of Eid-el-Maulud should go beyond celebration, noting that the greatest honour Muslims can give the Holy Prophet is to emulate his noble character and apply his teachings in their daily lives.
According to him, Muslims should continue to promote peaceful coexistence, show kindness to the less privileged, uphold justice and extend love, tolerance and respect to people irrespective of their differences.
D-Al-Ameen also called on the faithful to remain committed to prayers, good character, charity and service to humanity, describing these virtues as essential ingredients for building a peaceful, united and prosperous society.
He prayed for continued peace, stability and prosperity in Oyo State and Nigeria, urging Muslims to remain steadfast in their faith and continue to be worthy ambassadors of Islam.
