Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola has accepted his appointment as Deputy Director, Grassroots Engagement and Mobilization, in the Presidential Campaign Council, pledging to deploy his experience and grassroots network towards the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
Akinola, in a statement issued following his appointment, expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for the confidence and trust reposed in him, describing the appointment as a great honour and responsibility.
He assured the President that the confidence would not be taken for granted, promising to work diligently with other members of the campaign council to strengthen grassroots engagement and mobilisation across the country.
According to him, the assignment would provide an opportunity to further connect the administration with Nigerians at the grassroots and effectively communicate the President’s message and policies to the people.
“I deeply appreciate this trust and confidence, and I assure you that it will never be taken for granted. I remain fully committed to contributing my very best toward the success of our collective mission,” Akinola said.
He added that he would collaborate with party stakeholders, grassroots leaders and other members of the council to build stronger engagement with the people and mobilise support for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Akinola further pledged his unwavering loyalty and dedication to the success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration.
He expressed optimism that through effective grassroots mobilisation, teamwork and sustained engagement, the campaign council would achieve its objectives and secure President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
