
…As Strategic Abuja meeting charts winning formula as party intensifies preparations for the general elections

The leadership of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Lagos State has held a strategic meeting with the party’s National Executive at its headquarters in Abuja as part of preparations for the 2027 general elections.

According to the party, the meeting reviewed the progress of the APM in Lagos State and discussed strategies aimed at strengthening the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The party also announced that the name of its Lagos State governorship candidate, Prince Laja Adeoye, has been successfully uploaded to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal, describing the development as a formal confirmation of his candidature for the 2027 election.

The APM reaffirmed its confidence in its leadership, highlighting its presidential candidate, Engr. Seyi Makinde, alongside other prominent political figures within the party, including Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, under the leadership of the party’s National Chairman, Alhaji Yusuf Mamman Dantale.

The party maintained that it is positioning itself as a viable alternative ahead of the 2027 general elections, expressing optimism that Nigerians are seeking a change in leadership at both the federal and state levels.
The delegation was led by the Lagos State Chairman of the party, Mrs. Bunmi Adeyemo, alongside the Coordinator of the Laja Adeoye Campaign Organisation (LACO), Otunba S. Alebiosu.
Other party officials at the meeting included the National Secretary, National Organising Secretary, Oyo State APM Chairman, the party’s Director of ICT and the Kwara State APM Chairman.
