A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan NorthWest and 2027 aspirant for the House of Representatives, Kehinde Giwa, has congratulated Hon. Abayomi Fagbenro, popularly known as Bibire, on his recent appointment as Special Adviser on Security to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
Hon Giwa described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of loyalty, dedication, and unwavering commitment to public service.
According to him, Hon. Fagbenro has consistently demonstrated capacity, discipline, and leadership qualities over the years, noting that his experience as a former United States military personnel would further strengthen the security architecture of Oyo State.
Giwa commended Governor Seyi Makinde for what he described as his continuous effort in appointing competent and experienced individuals into strategic positions for the development of the state.
He stated that the governor’s decision to appoint Bibire reflects his commitment to good governance, security advancement, and inclusive administration.
“Hon. Abayomi Fagbenro is a committed party man whose passion for service and loyalty to the PDP and Oyo State remain commendable. His appointment did not come as a surprise to many of us who understand his contributions and wealth of experience,” Giwa said.
The PDP chieftain expressed confidence that Fagbenro would bring professionalism, intelligence gathering expertise, and strategic coordination into the security sector of the state.
He further urged party faithful and residents of Oyo State to continue supporting the administration of Governor Makinde in its efforts towards ensuring peace, security, and sustainable development across the state.
