Hon. Dawood Akanni Olalere, a hopeful for the Federal House of Representatives seat representing Ibadan NorthWest/Ibadan SouthWest Federal Constituency under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has officially picked his party’s nomination form in Abuja ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The development marks another significant step in the political journey of the grassroots politician popularly known as D-Al-Ameen, who has continued to gain attention for his people-oriented approach and growing political influence within the constituency and across Oyo State.
Speaking shortly after obtaining the nomination form, Hon. D-Al-Ameen expressed deep appreciation to the leadership of the ADC for providing a transparent and inclusive platform for aspirants seeking to contribute meaningfully to national development.
He commended the party leaders for their support, encouragement, and commitment towards strengthening internal democracy, while assuring them of his readiness to uphold the ideals and vision of the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
The federal lawmaker hopeful also extended heartfelt gratitude to his numerous supporters, political associates, loyalists, and admirers across Ibadan NorthWest and Ibadan SouthWest Federal Constituency for their unwavering support and confidence in his leadership.
According to him, the time has come for all supporters and stakeholders to intensify grassroots mobilization, awareness campaigns, and political engagements in order to ensure victory for the ADC during the forthcoming polls.
Hon. D-Al-Ameen urged members of the constituency to remain steadfast and prayerful, expressing optimism that the movement would record a landslide victory in 2027.
He further reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining pro-people initiatives, promising to continue championing policies and programs that would positively impact the lives of the people if elected into the Green Chamber.
The politician noted that his aspiration is driven by a passion for quality representation, empowerment, youth development, and improved welfare for constituents, stressing that the people deserve responsive and accessible leadership.
D-Al-Ameen, who recently aligned with the ADC after leaving the PDP, has remained active in grassroots politics and community engagements within Ibadan and Oyo State at large.9
