A House of Representatives aspirant for Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency, Oluwatobi John Ogunbayo, has delivered a message of hope, unity, and renewed commitment to residents, outlining a vision anchored on inclusive governance and grassroots development.

Ogunbayo, who is seeking election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said the time demands purposeful leadership and responsive representation that prioritizes the needs of the people.

In his address, the aspirant emphasized his readiness to serve, describing his ambition as more than a political pursuit but a call to redefine representation in the constituency.

“This is not just about politics but it is about our future. It is about building a constituency where every voice matters, where every youth has an opportunity, and where development is not promised but delivered,” he said.

People-First Leadership Vision
At the core of Ogunbayo’s message is a “People First Leadership” philosophy, which he said is designed to ensure governance directly impacts lives through empowerment, infrastructure, and economic opportunities.

He noted that achieving meaningful progress would require unity, shared sacrifice, and active participation from all stakeholders across the constituency.

Key Priorities Outlined
The aspirant highlighted several strategic areas that would shape his legislative agenda if elected. These include strengthening constituency engagement through regular town hall meetings and accessible leadership, as well as advocating for federal interventions in critical infrastructure such as roads, healthcare, education, and public utilities.

Ogunbayo also placed strong emphasis on youth empowerment, pledging support for entrepreneurship, vocational training, digital innovation, and job creation initiatives aimed at reducing unemployment.

In addition, he underscored the need for inclusive governance, with policies targeted at protecting vulnerable groups and enhancing women’s participation in leadership and development processes.

Call for Unity and Participation
Reinforcing the importance of collective action, Ogunbayo urged party members, community leaders, youths, and other stakeholders to unite in pursuit of a shared vision for the constituency.

Referencing the APC’s symbol, he said unity remains the foundation for overcoming challenges and achieving sustainable development.

“When we stand united, no challenge is insurmountable. This movement belongs to all of us,” he added.

Grassroots Connection and Representation
Widely regarded as a grassroots-oriented politician, Ogunbayo positioned himself as a bridge between the people and the federal government, pledging to listen, engage, and deliver on campaign promises.

He concluded by calling on constituents to remain hopeful and actively participate in shaping their political future.

“This is our moment to choose progress over stagnation, service over self-interest, and unity over division. I am ready to serve,” he said.

Political observers note that his message signals an early push toward the next electoral cycle, with a focus on mobilizing support and presenting a development-driven agenda for Ibadan North-West and South-West.
