Hon. Oluwatobi John Ogunbayo has officially picked the nomination form of the All Progressives Congress to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.
The declaration marks a significant step in Ogunbayo’s political journey, as he formally signals his intention to represent the constituency at the federal level.
Speaking on his decision, Ogunbayo said his aspiration is rooted in a deep sense of responsibility and commitment to the people. He noted that wide consultations with stakeholders, community leaders, youths, and women across the constituency informed his move to join the race.
He emphasized that while the constituency is rich in potential, there is a pressing need for more effective and people-focused representation, particularly in key areas such as healthcare, youth empowerment, infrastructure, job creation, and economic development.
Ogunbayo pledged to deliver purposeful leadership, assuring constituents of his readiness to listen, engage, and advocate policies that will improve their welfare and drive sustainable growth.
He also appreciated party leaders and supporters for their encouragement, calling for unity and collective participation as the political process unfolds.
