Aspirant for the House of Representatives seat for Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency, Oloye Engr. (Dr.) David Olusegun Okanlawon (DOO), has unveiled a development-driven agenda aimed at transforming the constituency through job creation, improved infrastructure, youth empowerment and transparent leadership.

In a statement outlining his vision, Okanlawon said the future of Ibarapa Central/North would be shaped by conscious and strategic decisions, stressing that the people deserve more than symbolic representation.

According to him, residents deserve leadership focused on measurable results, practical solutions and visible progress that directly impact their daily lives.

He pledged to drive agricultural transformation capable of creating over 1,000 sustainable jobs across the constituency, while also prioritising access to clean and potable water in all communities.

The aspirant further promised to strengthen healthcare centres through the provision of modern equipment and emergency response systems to improve life-saving services.

On youth development, Okanlawon said his administration would invest heavily in digital skills, technical education and sports development to prepare young people for global opportunities.

He noted that true empowerment must move beyond political rhetoric and deliver opportunities that shift youths from dependency to productivity.

The House of Representatives hopeful also emphasised accountability, promising regular town hall meetings to maintain direct engagement with constituents and ensure transparent management of public resources.

“The pathway is clear, the resources exist, and the talent is undeniable. What remains is the will to act decisively and move beyond stagnation into a future defined by progress, security and shared prosperity,” he said.

Calling for unity and collective action, Okanlawon urged residents to join hands in building a better Ibarapa, declaring that the constituency can attain greatness through progressive leadership and a new vision for tomorrow.
