Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo (RAD), Senior Special Assistant to Governor Makinde on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, has commended the phenomenal leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde and his commitment to democratic inclusiveness.
RAD described the Ibadan summit as a “timely and courageous step” toward rescuing Nigeria’s democracy and restoring hope among citizens.
She praised Governor Makinde for fostering an enabling environment that allowed opposition voices to converge peacefully and chart a common future for the country, noting that Oyo State has once again demonstrated its historical role as a hub for progressive political thought.
According to her, the unity demonstrated by opposition leaders signals a renewed determination to prioritize the welfare of Nigerians over partisan interests.
“The Ibadan Declaration represents the collective will of leaders to build a nation where justice, equity, and opportunity are guaranteed for all,” she stated.
RAD further assured Nigerians that the emerging coalition of opposition forces would deliver a better, more inclusive Nigeria, emphasizing good governance, grassroots development, and people-centered policies.
She urged citizens to remain hopeful and actively participate in the democratic process, stressing that national transformation requires collective effort and sustained engagement.
