We, the concerned stakeholders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the South West, strongly reject and condemn the misleading statement credited to some individuals parading themselves as leaders of the party in the region against our respected National Secretary, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola. Their comments do not represent the position of genuine members and stakeholders of ADC in the South West. Such reckless utterances are divisive, unfortunate, and capable of creating unnecessary confusion within the party.
For the avoidance of doubt, the authentic leadership structure of ADC in the South West remains under the able leadership of Hon. Omole as the South West Chairman, while Architect Bashiru Lawal remains the duly recognized South West Secretary. Any group or persons claiming otherwise should desist from misleading the public and impersonating party authority they do not possess. The party must be guided by truth, order, and respect for constituted leadership.
Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has continued to demonstrate commitment, vision, and progressive ideals that have attracted renewed interest and credibility to ADC across the country, especially in the South West. Rather than vilify a leader working tirelessly for party growth, all genuine members should rally round him and support efforts aimed at repositioning ADC as a formidable political force. Personal bitterness and selfish ambition must not be allowed to derail our collective progress.
We therefore caution those behind these baseless allegations to stop parading themselves as spokespersons of ADC in the South West. The party belongs to all members, not a few self-appointed actors seeking relevance through falsehood and media propaganda. We urge members and the general public to disregard such statements and remain focused on unity, discipline, and the continued growth of ADC under credible leadership.
Signed:
Teslim Bolarinwa
Chairman, Concerned South West ADC Stakeholders
