In a significant move to advance digital inclusion and youth empowerment, Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide has partnered with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) to train 210 youths across Oyo State in critical digital skills.
The initiative, which forms part of Odidiomo’s ongoing commitment to human capital development, is designed to equip young people with relevant technological competencies needed to thrive in today’s digital economy. Beneficiaries of the programme were not only trained but also empowered with laptops to enhance their productivity and practical application of the skills acquired.
The training programme covered key areas such as digital literacy, content creation, online business tools, and other emerging tech-driven opportunities. Participants were exposed to practical knowledge aimed at improving employability, entrepreneurship, and innovation among youths in the state.
Speaking on the initiative, Odidiomo emphasized the importance of digital skills in modern society, noting that technology remains a critical driver of economic growth and global competitiveness. He reiterated his commitment to ensuring that youths in his constituency are not left behind in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
