
The Oyo State Councillors’ Forum has extended warm felicitations to former chairman, Rt Hon Muili Kazeem Arowodana, as he marks his birthday on April 18.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists, members of the forum described Arowodana as a committed grassroots politician and a dependable leader whose tenure left a lasting impact on the council’s legislative structure across the state.
Arowodana, who served as Chairman of the Oyo State Councillors’ Forum and represented Ward 8 of Ibadan NorthWest Local Government between 2021 and 2024, was praised for his dedication to strengthening unity among councillors and advancing the interests of local government administration.
The forum noted that during his time in office, he demonstrated exemplary leadership, fostering cooperation among members while advocating for policies that enhanced governance at the grassroots level.
“Your tenure as chairman was marked by purpose, inclusiveness, and a clear vision for the progress of councillors in Oyo State,” the statement read. “Your contributions continue to inspire many within the political space.”
The councillors further wished him good health, wisdom, and continued success in his future endeavors, expressing confidence that his experience and leadership qualities would remain valuable to the development of Oyo State.
