A Popular humanitarian, Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro, renowned as Bibire, has communicated Easter greetings to Christians in Ibadan Northwest and Ibadan Southwest Federal Constituency as well as Nigerians across the country as they celebrate this important period.
In his Easter message to observe the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Bibire urged them to draw lessons from the season and remain hopeful despite present economic challenges.
He said Easter remains a season that calls for deep thought on love, sacrifice, restoration, and the hope that comes with the victory of life over death.
The retired US Navy veteran encouraged believers to use the occasion to think deeply on the purpose of the celebration and to renew their commitment to building a better and more prosperous Nigeria.
He noted that many Nigerians are currently facing serious economic pressure due to the high cost of living and other challenges affecting daily life.
The compassionate politician stressed that the situation, though difficult, should not lead to despair as there is still a path forward through unity and collective effort.
According to him, Nigerians must remain strong and work together with a common sense of purpose to overcome the present difficulties and move the country toward growth and stability.
He also called on Christians to use the Easter period to seek God sincerely, show kindness to others, and contribute to peace within their communities.
He further urged residents of Oyo State to continue their support for Governor Seyi Makinde and the Omi tuntun 3.0 agenda, adding that no one desires a return to the dark and unpalatable days experienced under the APC administration.
Bibire concluded by wishing all Christians a joyful celebration enveloped with peace, love, and renewed strength for the days ahead.
