Aare (Hon.) Dr. Dawood Olalere, popularly known as D-Al-Ameen, member representing Ibadan North-West State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, has congratulated Christians in Oyo State and across Nigeria on the occasion of the Easter celebration, urging them to intensify prayers for sustainable economic growth and unity.
In an Easter message released through his Sorosoke Media Team, the lawmaker described the resurrection of Jesus Christ as “a symbol of hope, sacrifice, renewal, and triumph over challenges,” calling on the faithful to reflect on the deeper meaning of the season.
“Easter should inspire us to embrace love, humility, and selfless service, which are the core virtues demonstrated by Jesus Christ,” D-Al-Ameen said.
He further appealed to residents of Oyo State to use the period for fervent prayers aimed at fostering economic stability, peace, and progress across the state.
According to him, “collective prayers and unity among citizens remain vital ingredients for achieving meaningful development and shared prosperity.”
The lawmaker, who is also a frontline aspirant for the Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency under the Action Democratic Congress (ADC), stressed the importance of sustained public support for policies and initiatives that drive economic advancement, job creation, and improved welfare for citizens.
D-Al-Ameen concluded by wishing Christians a peaceful and fulfilling Easter celebration, expressing hope that the blessings of the season would usher in renewed hope, progress, and lasting prosperity for Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
