A governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State, Prince Laja Adeoye, has extended warm Easter greetings to residents, urging them to embrace the spirit of renewal, hope, and collective progress.
In his Easter message made available to the public, Adeoye described the season as a powerful reminder that no matter the challenges people face, new beginnings and greater possibilities remain within reach.
“As we celebrate this Easter season, I extend warm greetings to Lagosians and their families. This is a time of hope, renewal, and resurrection a powerful reminder that no matter the challenges we face, new beginnings and greater possibilities are always within reach,” he said.
The PDP chieftain drew parallels between the resurrection story and the prospects of the state, expressing optimism about a brighter future for Lagos.
“Just as the resurrection brought light after darkness, I believe Lagos can rise to new heights of prosperity, security, and inclusive development,” Adeoye stated.
Highlighting his vision for the state, the aspirant emphasized the need for improved living standards and inclusive governance.
“My vision for our state is one where every resident enjoys quality housing, job opportunities, improved education and healthcare, and a safer, better-governed environment,” he added.
Adeoye further called on residents to use the Easter period as a moment of reflection and renewed commitment toward building a more equitable society.
“This Easter, let us renew our faith, strengthen our resolve, and commit ourselves to building a Lagos that works for all not just a privileged few,” he said.
