APC House of Representatives aspirant for Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency, Oluwatobi John Ogunbayo, has called on Nigerians to embrace reflection, renewal, and responsible leadership as Christians commemorate Good Friday.

In a statement marking the solemn occasion, Ogunbayo extended his greetings to residents of the constituency and Nigerians at large, emphasizing the significance of the day as a period for deep reflection on sacrifice, selflessness, and love for humanity.

He noted that Good Friday serves as a reminder of the importance of service, humility, and prioritizing the well-being of others, especially in a time when the nation continues to grapple with social and economic challenges.

According to him, the lessons inherent in the day remain highly relevant, urging both leaders and citizens to align their actions with values that promote unity, compassion, and collective progress.

The aspirant stressed that true leadership is not defined by power or position but by a genuine commitment to serving the people. He added that meaningful governance requires deliberate sacrifices, empathy, and dedication to improving lives, even under difficult circumstances.

Ogunbayo further stated that his aspiration to represent the constituency at the National Assembly is driven by these principles, expressing belief that sustainable development can only be achieved through shared responsibility and inclusive community-building.

He encouraged individuals to reflect on their roles in shaping a better society, noting that everyday actions and decisions contribute significantly to national development.

Ogunbayo concluded by urging Nigerians to use the Good Friday observance as an opportunity to renew their commitment to service, integrity, and unity, while praying for peace, hope, and a stronger sense of purpose across communities.
