The Vice Chairman of Ido Local Government and Chairmanship aspirant, Hon. Barr. Olayemi Ajibola Oluwasina, has extended heartfelt Good Friday greetings to the people of Ido Local Government, Oyo State, and Nigerians at large, urging reflection on the values of sacrifice, love, and service.
In a statement marking the solemn Christian observance, Oluwasina emphasized the significance of Good Friday as a time for sober reflection and renewed commitment to community development and human empowerment. He reiterated his dedication to promoting people-centered policies that will enhance the welfare and growth of residents across Ido Local Government.
The chairmanship hopeful also pledged continuous investment in human capital development, noting that sustainable progress can only be achieved when the people are adequately empowered through education, skills acquisition, and inclusive opportunities.
Oluwasina commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, for what he described as remarkable strides in infrastructural and socio-economic development across the state. He equally lauded the Chairman of Ido Local Government, Sherrif Adeojo, for his contributions toward grassroots development and improved governance at the local level.
While felicitating with residents, Oluwasina called on citizens to remain united, peaceful, and committed to the collective progress of the local government, especially during the Easter season.
