A Personal Aide to the Oyo State Government has showered heartfelt praises on the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, Toyin Balogun, describing her as a “blessed mother” and a woman of remarkable impact as she celebrates her birthday, March 31st.
The aide extolled the virtues of the Commissioner, lauding her dedication to the empowerment of women, protection of vulnerable groups, and her unwavering commitment to the vision of Governor Seyi Makinde.
“Today, we celebrate not just a leader, but a mother to many. Iya ni wura, baba ni jigi (a mother is gold, priceless and irreplaceable). Hon. (Mrs) Toyin Balogun has proven time and again that she is truly ‘iya agbaye’, a mother whose care extends beyond her immediate family to the entire society most importantly Oyo State,” the statement read.
The aide further described her as “obinrin ọlọlá, ẹni rere, ati iya to ni ìfẹ́ gidi” (a noble woman, kind-hearted, and a mother filled with genuine love) whose leadership style continues to inspire hope and inclusiveness across Oyo State.
Highlighting her achievements, the statement noted that under her stewardship, the Ministry has witnessed significant strides in advocating for women’s rights, promoting gender equality, and strengthening social inclusion policies in line with the administration’s people-centered agenda.
