The Vice Chairman and Chairmanship Aspirant of Ido Local Government, Hon. Barr. Olayemi Oluwasina, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, urging residents to embrace unity and peaceful coexistence.

In a press statement marking the end of Ramadan, Oluwasina described Eid as a sacred period that reflects the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, and compassion, which are essential for building a harmonious society.

He commended the Muslim community for their steadfast devotion, discipline, and commitment to peace throughout the holy month, noting that such values remain vital to the growth and stability of Ido Local Government and beyond.

The Vice Chairman further called on residents, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences, to continue promoting mutual respect and understanding, stressing that unity is a key driver of sustainable development and collective progress.

Oluwasina also encouraged citizens to celebrate the festive period responsibly, while extending love and support to the less privileged through acts of kindness and generosity.

He expressed optimism that the lessons of Ramadan would inspire renewed commitment to community service and peaceful living among residents.

The council boss concluded by praying that the Eid celebration brings renewed hope, abundant blessings, and lasting peace to every home and the entire community.
