An Aspirant for the House of Assembly Seat, Ibadan Northwest Constituency, Hon. Bankole Fasuyi, popularly known as Hon. Banky, has congratulated mothers and women across the country as they commemorate this year’s Mother’s Day.
Hon. Fasuyi described mothers as the backbone of every family and society, noting that their sacrifices, love, and commitment to nurturing the next generation remain invaluable to nation-building.
The Ibadan North West constituency hopeful commended mothers for their resilience and unwavering dedication to raising responsible children despite the many economic and social challenges confronting families today.
According to him, mothers play a crucial role not only in the home but also in community development and the overall progress of society.
Hon. Fasuyi further praised women for their strength, compassion, and ability to balance multiple responsibilities while continuing to contribute meaningfully to the growth of their communities.
He urged governments at all levels to continue to prioritize policies and programmes that empower women, protect their rights, and support mothers in their vital roles within society.
The PDP chieftain also called on families and communities to celebrate and appreciate mothers beyond the annual commemoration, emphasizing that their love and sacrifices deserve continuous recognition.
