


The leadership of the Ekiti City Boy Movement led by the State Coordinator, Hon. Kasali Oluwafemi has announced the appointment of Hon. (Mrs) Sade Ogunsakin popularly known as (Sade Ayeikire) as the pioneer Coordinator for Gbonyin Local Government Area.


In a statement released through the L.G PRO, Comrade Olawale Ezekiel, and made available to the press in Ode-Ekiti, the move was described as a strategic step aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilization and expanding the movement’s influence across the state.
Hon. Ogunsakin’s appointment reflects the confidence reposed in her leadership capacity, dedication to youth development, and unwavering commitment to progressive ideals. As the L.G Coordinator,*Sade Ayeikire* is expected to spearhead strategic engagement, foster unity among members, and drive impactful initiatives that align with the vision of the movement.
Until her appointment, Hon. Ogunsakin was a former Supervisory Councilor for Health in Gbonyin L.G, served as State Coordinator, Females for BAO, and South for BAO in Ekiti State. Her emergence signals a renewed focus on inclusive participation, youth engagement, and coordinated efforts toward sustainable growth within Gbonyin Local Government.
In her acceptance speech, Mrs. Ogunsakin expressed appreciation to the State Coordinator and the entire leadership of the City Boy Movement in Ekiti State for the confidence reposed in her. She promised to introduce new ideas and innovations that will advance community development and enhance grassroots youth involvement in politics.
Members of the movement have expressed optimism that her experience and passion for service will further consolidate the structure of the Ekiti City Boy Movement at the grassroots level.
