The Ido Local Government Vice Chairman and Chairmanship Aspirant 2027, Hon. Barr. Olayemi Ajibola Oluwasina, has presented Certificates of Training, Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Certificates of Incorporation, and Driver’s Licenses to youths who successfully completed various empowerment training.
The presentation ceremony, held within the local government area, underscored a strong commitment to youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and economic advancement. The initiative ensured that beneficiaries were not only trained in relevant vocational and entrepreneurial skills but were also equipped with the legal and professional documentation required to operate confidently and independently.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Oluwasina explained that the programme was deliberately structured beyond conventional skills acquisition. According to him, the goal was to provide participants with both competence and legitimacy in their chosen trades and businesses.
He noted that the CAC Certificates of Incorporation would enable trained entrepreneurs to formally register their businesses with the Corporate Affairs Commission, thereby granting them legal recognition and access to broader business opportunities. In addition, the issuance of driver’s licenses to beneficiaries was aimed at expanding their means of livelihood and enhancing mobility for commercial and personal purposes.
The Vice Chairman reiterated his dedication to creating sustainable opportunities that will reduce unemployment, promote self-reliance, and stimulate economic growth across Ido Local Government.
