A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State and Chief Executive Officer of the Harrison Alonge Foundation, Mr. Harrison Olaniyi Alonge (HOA), has congratulated the newly elected Council Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates across the state following the successful conduct of the party’s consensus primary elections.
In a statement signed by his Media Aide, Comrade Olawale Ogunyebi, and made available to the press in Ado-Ekiti, Alonge described the exercise as peaceful, transparent, and a true reflection of internal democracy within the party.
He commended the leadership of the APC in Ekiti State for ensuring a smooth and hitch-free process that fostered unity and strengthened party cohesion ahead of the forthcoming local government elections.
According to him, the emergence of candidates through consensus demonstrates political maturity, discipline, and a shared commitment to progress among party stakeholders.
He urged the flagbearers to view their emergence as a call to greater service, dedication, and grassroots development.
“Leadership is a responsibility to serve the people with integrity and accountability. I encourage our Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates to prioritize the welfare of the people and justify the confidence reposed in them,” Alonge stated.
He further expressed confidence that the APC would record resounding victories at the polls, noting that the party remains united and focused under the leadership of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
Alonge reaffirmed his commitment to the ideals of the party and pledged his continued support toward ensuring sustainable development across Ekiti State.
