Hon. (Chief) Akindipe Hammed Abiodun Akinsunbo, MPA, popularly known as Igba-Otun and Supervisory Councillor for Works in Ibadan North-West Local Government, has joined millions of well-meaning citizens to celebrate the February 15 birthday of the Chairman of the Local Government Pensions Board and respected chieftain, Hon. (Chief) Akeem Ademola Ige.
In a warm and heartfelt felicitation, Chief Akinsunbo, who also holds the revered traditional title of Mayegun of Eleyele/Arometa, described the celebrant who is also the Bameto Aare Ona Kakanfo as a visionary leader, seasoned administrator, and compassionate statesman whose years of dedicated service to Oyo State remain exemplary. He noted that Hon. Ige’s contributions as a former Council Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government and his current stewardship at the Pensions Board have continued to impact lives positively and strengthen governance at the grassroots.
Akinsunbo commended the celebrant’s humility, loyalty to progressive ideals, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of retirees and the people of Oyo State, adding that his leadership style stands as a model for emerging political leaders.
He prayed that God grants Hon. Ige long life, sound health, and greater wisdom to continue his service to humanity, wishing him many more years of impactful leadership and fulfilment.
