Hon. (Chief) Akindipe Hammed Abiodun Akinsunbo, MPA, popularly known as Igba-Otun and Supervisory Councillor for Works in Ibadan North-West Local Government, has joined millions of well-meaning citizens to celebrate the February 14 birthday of renowned philanthropist and youth advocate, Otunba Joseph Adeseye Famojuro (JAF).
In a warm and heartfelt felicitation, Chief Akinsunbo, who also holds the revered traditional title of Mayegun of Eleyele/Arometa, described the celebrant as a dependable guide and moral compass to the younger generation across Oyo State. According to him, Otunba Famojuro has consistently demonstrated uncommon passion for youth development, mentorship and humanitarian service, making him a shining example for emerging leaders.
The Oyo State House of Assembly hopeful representing Ibadan North-West State Constituency noted that the celebrant’s life of generosity, compassion and steadfast commitment to uplifting young people has earned him admiration and respect beyond political and social circles. He added that Otunba Famojuro’s doors have always remained open to support and nurture talents, describing him as “a pillar of hope and encouragement to countless youths striving for a better future.”
Chief Akinsunbo further commended Otunba Famojuro for his close alliance and unwavering loyalty to the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde, stating that his support has contributed to the sustained progress and people-oriented governance being witnessed across the state.
He emphasized that Otunba Famojuro’s philanthropic gestures and love for young ones have continued to transform lives, foster unity and inspire responsible leadership among the next generation. “Your life remains a testimony of selfless service, humility and dedication to humanity. You are truly a guide to the youngsters of Oyo State and beyond,” he said.
Chief Akinsunbo prayed for God’s continued guidance, sound health and greater accomplishments for the celebrant, expressing confidence that the years ahead would bring more impactful contributions to society.
