A prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and aspirant for Ibadan NorthWest State Constituency, Honourable Bankole Fasuyi, has urged party faithful in Oyo State to remain steadfast and not lose faith, assuring them that the party’s internal challenges will soon be resolved.
Fasuyi gave the advice during a courtesy visit to the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Oyo State Governor, Honourable Kazim Adeyinka Adeniyi, where he congratulated him on his recent appointment.
He also felicitates with the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Professor Musibau Babatunde, on his emergence.
The PDP chieftain commended the state government for the successful hosting of the recently concluded Oyo State at 50 anniversary celebration, describing it as a monumental achievement that reinforced the state’s reputation as the Pacesetter State.
According to Fasuyi, the anniversary event showcased the organisational capacity and progress of the state under the present administration, noting that it reflected unity and purposeful leadership.
During the visit, Fasuyi also discussed party-related issues, particularly concerns over internal divisions within the PDP in Oyo State.
He noted that efforts were ongoing to address disagreements and strengthen party cohesion.
He, therefore, called on party members to remain loyal and united, expressing confidence that all issues will be surmounted within a short time, adding that the PDP in the state remains strong and focused on delivering good governance.
