
In furtherance of his commitment to complement the efforts of the Oyo State Government in alleviating the hardship faced by residents, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North

West Local Government, Alhaji Abdulrahman Olanrewaju Adepoju, has presented a cheque of One Hundred Thousand Naira (₦100,000) as financial assistance to Mr. Ibrahim Akinade.


The presentation forms part of the Chairman’s ongoing welfare intervention programmes aimed at supporting vulnerable residents and strengthening their sources of livelihood within the local government area.
Speaking during the presentation, Alhaji Adepoju reaffirmed that the present administration at the local government level remains committed to inclusive governance, social protection, and people-oriented initiatives designed to ease economic hardship and promote self-reliance among residents.
He noted that the intervention aligns with the broader vision of the Oyo State Government to improve the welfare of citizens through targeted support and grassroots engagement.
In his response, Mr. Ibrahim Akinade expressed profound gratitude to the Executive Chairman and the Ibadan NorthWest Local Government Authority for the timely assistance, describing it as a lifeline that would significantly improve his condition and enable him to sustain his means of livelihood.
The Ibadan NorthWest Local Government has continued to roll out welfare and empowerment initiatives as part of its drive to ensure that governance positively impacts lives at the grassroots.
