On the 1st of February, the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs & Social Inclusion made a presence at the 60th birthday of a committed loyalist of His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde who also served as the Women Coordinator of His Excellency’s Governorship campaign for Kajola Local Government, Mrs Sikirat Cecilia Adebayo; a seasoned veteran politician, political influencer and entrepreneur in the Kajola community with a team of women in tow
Mrs Sikirat Adebayo served with outstanding commitment, beyond the call of duty, many times she dippèd into her personal resources to augment the lìttle resources available to ensure that collectively,working hands in gloves with other leaders, her local govt was delivered
The trip also served as a Social Welfare outreach where Palliative Food items and fabrics were distributed to the vulnerable,; women,children, the elderly & the physically challenged within the town in line with Governor Makinde’s commitment to bringing succour to the vulnerable and the less priviledged in our midst
Interestingly, at the end of the program,a number of people approached the celebrant,expressing the desire and readiness to join the PDP because according to them,its apparent that the PDP appreciates supports and stands by its members
