Born on 7th August over four decades ago into the family of Chief Oyeniyi, Hon. Oyeniyi hails from Olubi Compound, Oke-Bàrà, in Ibadan North-West Local Government Area of Oyo State. His background is a strong reminder that leadership is most impactful when it springs from the people and remains rooted in their everyday experiences. He is a product of the community, shaped by its challenges and inspired by its potential.


His academic journey speaks of consistency and commitment to excellence. From Chief Agbaje Memorial Nursery and Primary School to Oba Abass Aleshinloye Grammar School, where he completed his secondary education in 2011, Oyeniyi laid a solid foundation for personal growth. He proceeded to The Polytechnic, Ibadan, where he earned both his Ordinary National Diploma (OND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Public Administration. This academic choice reflects a clear interest in governance, public service, and administration.
Not content with stopping there, he further advanced his education at the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics. This unique blend of Public Administration and Economics equips him with the intellectual tools to understand policy formulation, resource management, economic development, and legislative responsibilities. His completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 2024 in Osun State further demonstrates his sense of duty, patriotism, and national responsibility.
As a youth hopeful, Oyeniyi embodies the spirit of resilience and hard work. His professional journey, which began as an Office Assistant at Martha’s Kitchen and progressed to Administrative Assistant and later Procurement Manager, reflects discipline, integrity, and leadership capacity. Such steady growth is evidence of a young man who earns progress through merit and dedication. His engagement in private business ventures also shows his entrepreneurial mindset and understanding of economic realities, especially the importance of job creation and self-reliance.
Politically, Oyeniyi Tunde Ibrahim is recognized as a chartered administrator as a member of the Chartered institute of local government and public administration of Nigeria, and grassroots politician. He is not distant from the people; rather, he is accessible, relatable, and deeply concerned about community development.
