Hon. Michael Olusegun Aremu (MOA), a chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a grassroots-driven hopeful for Ibadan North State Constituency II in the Oyo State House of Assembly, has reaffirmed his unwavering support for Governor Seyi Makinde (GSM), declaring that their shared vision for development extends beyond 2027.
Hon. Aremu made this affirmation while addressing volunteers drawn from various wards across Constituency II of Ibadan North Local Government Area. The gathering brought together supporters who believe strongly in his mission of people-centered leadership and sustainable development.
Speaking passionately, MOA emphasized the bond between his leadership ambition and the developmental strides of Governor Makinde’s administration. He noted that just as he believes in the leadership capacity of GSM, the volunteers equally believe in his own vision for effective representation and service to the people.
“I believe in GSM like you, people believe in me. Our mission is rooted in service, integrity, and commitment to the progress of our communities,” he stated.
Hon. Aremu commended Governor Makinde for his visible achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic development across Oyo State, describing them as clear evidence of purposeful governance. He added that the transformation witnessed in the state has strengthened the confidence of the people in the PDP’s ability to deliver good governance.
He further charged the volunteers to remain dedicated, united, and focused on grassroots mobilization, stressing that their role is vital in sustaining the developmental agenda of the party and ensuring continuity of progress in Ibadan North.
The volunteers, in their response, pledged total loyalty and commitment to Hon. Aremu’s aspiration, describing him as a leader who understands the needs of the people and has consistently demonstrated readiness to serve.
The reaffirmation of support under the banner “MOA Stand with GSM Beyond 2027” signals a growing synergy as well as a strong resolve among party faithful and grassroots supporters to consolidate the gains of good governance in Oyo State.
