
The Leader of the Ibadan NorthWest Legislative House and Councillor representing Ward 9, Hon. Oluwagbemileke Gbadamosi Nelson, popularly known as Hon. O’leke, has extended warm birthday felicitations to the Supervisory Councillor for Sports, Hon. Wasiu Sulaimon, fondly called Okababa, as he marks his golden jubilee.
In his congratulatory message, Hon. O’leke described the celebrant as a dedicated party man, a humble and reliable personality who carries himself with dignity and respect. He noted that Hon. Okababa’s commitment to service and loyalty to the party have continued to earn him admiration among colleagues and constituents.
Hon. O’leke further highlighted the celebrant’s passion for sports, especially his well-known love for Chelsea Football Club, which has affectionately earned him the nickname “Baba Blue.” He stated that this enthusiasm reflects Hon. Okababa’s vibrant personality and strong connection to sports development and youth engagement within the local government.
“Hon. Okababa is a brother and a dependable leader whose humility, dedication, and respect for others set him apart. At 50, he remains energetic, focused, and committed to the progress of Ibadan NorthWest,” Hon. O’leke said.
He offered prayers for the celebrant, asking Almighty Allah to grant him long life and good health, increased wisdom, and continuous success in all his endeavors. He prayed that Allah bless his home with peace, strengthen him with renewed energy, and reward his dedication to service with greater achievements.
