Hon. (Chief) Akindipe Hammed Abiodun Akinsunbo [MPA], popularly known as Igba-Otun and the Supervisory Councillor for Works in Ibadan North-West Local Government, has joined family members, friends, political associates, and well-wishers in celebrating Hon. Wasiu Sulaimon Okababa, the Supervisory Councillor for Sports, Ibadan North-West Local Government, on the occasion of his 50th birthday.
In a warm and heartfelt message, Chief Akinsunbo, who also holds the revered traditional title of Mayegun of Eleyele/Arometa, described Hon. Okababa as a committed public servant, a dependable colleague, and a grassroots politician whose passion for community development and youth empowerment through sports has continued to make a positive impact in Ibadan NorthWest.
He praised the celebrant for his humility, loyalty to the party, and unwavering dedication to duty, noting that Hon. Okababa has remained a symbol of discipline and hard work in public service. According to him, the sports sector in the local government has witnessed renewed energy and organization under Hon. Okababa’s leadership, fostering unity, talent discovery, and healthy living among youths.
Chief Akinsunbo further described Hon. Okababa as a man of peace and integrity, whose relationship with colleagues and constituents reflects his deep sense of responsibility and commitment to progress. He noted that attaining the golden age of 50 is a testimony to God’s grace and a reward for a life of service and selflessness.
He prayed that Almighty God grants Hon. Okababa long life in good health, renewed strength, and greater wisdom to continue serving humanity and his community. He also asked for divine guidance, protection, and abundant blessings in all his endeavors, wishing him many more prosperous years filled with joy, success, and fulfillment.
