
As Nigerians welcome the New Year 2026, the Omituntun Benedict Foundation, Oyo State, extends warm New Year greetings to the good people of Oyo State and Nigerians at large, with prayers for peace, renewed hope, and shared prosperity.
In a New Year message released by Olusegun C. A. Taiwo, the Secretary of Omituntun Benedict Foundation, the Founder and President of the Foundation, Oloye Benedict Akika, Agba’Akin Ataiyse Oodua Agbaye, described 2026 as a year that calls for deeper compassion, unity of purpose, and collective responsibility toward building a better society. He appreciated God for the grace to witness another year and commended the resilience of Nigerians, especially the vulnerable and underserved communities who continue to persevere despite socio-economic challenges.
Oloye Akika reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the Omituntun Benedict Foundation to humanitarian service, youth empowerment, community development, and support for the less privileged across Oyo State and beyond.
According to him, the Foundation will, in 2026, scale up its interventions through targeted empowerment programmes, educational support, healthcare assistance, and initiatives aimed at restoring dignity and hope to those in need.
“The New Year presents us with another opportunity to serve humanity with sincerity, integrity, and love. At Omituntun Benedict Foundation, our resolve remains firm to touch lives positively and contribute meaningfully to the development of our communities,” the Founder stated.
The Foundation also called on well-meaning individuals, corporate bodies, and development partners to continue to support and collaborate with its vision of a more inclusive, caring, and progressive society.
