The Executive Chairman of Ibadan Northwest Local Government, Alhaji AbdulRahman Olanrewaju Adepoju has extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Engr.oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde, on the occasion of his 58th birthday celebration and also felicitates with the Christian faithfuls on the celebration of this year’s Christmas.
According to the Chairman, His Excellency is a resilient captain who has demonstrated exceptional leadership through his unprecedented achievements, bringing succour to the people of Oyo State.He emphasized that residents of Ibadan Northwest are proud of the Governor’s remarkable contributions to the growth of the council, the state, and Nigeria at large. Hence, the need to rejoice with him for witnessing another year on Earth.
Alhaji Adepoju prayed for continued divine wisdom and sound health for the Governor, wishing him many more years of impactful service.
In the same vein, the Executive Chairman has congratulated Christians on the celebration of Christmas, urging them to see the season not just as a time for festivities but as a moment to reflect on the birth and teachings of Jesus Christ. He encouraged acts of love, peace, and charity especially towards the less privileged.
The Council Boss also appealed to all and sundry to celebrate responsibly and avoid any unlawful gathering or actions that could disrupt public peace. The Council Boss reminded the residents of Ibadan North West Local Government that street carnivals and the use of firearms remains prohibited, and violators will face the full weight of the law.
