Agba’Akin Ataiyse Oodua Agbaye, Oloye Benedict Akika, President of the Omituntun Benedict Foundation and Founder of the Omituntun Benedict Forum, has paid an emotional tribute to his late father, Pa Philip Umoru Akika, as the family marked 32 years since his passing.

In address to 9ja News 24/7 for the emotional and conscious remembrance, Oloye Akika described his father as a man whose life was anchored on compassion, principled leadership and unwavering service to humanity. He noted that, decades after his demise, Pa Akika’s values remain a moral compass not only to the Akika family but also to many who were touched by his life of selfless service.

According to him, the remembrance was a moment of deep reflection, gratitude and pride, celebrating a legacy that has continued to endure with time.

“Though years have passed, my father remains a guiding light. His strength, values and noble footsteps continue to inspire my journey and the many lives he touched,” Oloye Akika said.

He added that the legacy of his father is reflected in his own commitment to community development and humanitarian service through the Omituntun Benedict Foundation and the Omituntun Benedict Forum.
