Eruwa Monarch Applauds Makinde’s Development Agenda as NUJ BCOS Chapel Leaders Visit Palace

The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), BCOS Chapel, Oyo State, continued its familiarisation tour on Saturday, 22 November 2025, with a courtesy visit to the Eleruwa of Eruwa, HRM Oba Samuel Adebayo Adegbola (Ajobo-Olurin I).

The delegation, led by Chairman Comrade Ademola Balogun and Secretary Gbemisola Adebayo, visited the palace to strengthen ties with traditional institutions and engage on matters of mutual concern.

Oba Adegbola commended the Oyo State Government for its ongoing infrastructural upgrades in Eruwa, highlighting the reconstruction works within the town and the rehabilitation of the Ido–Eruwa Road as clear indicators of sustained development under Governor Seyi Makinde.

He described the governor as a reliable leader whose actions consistently reflect commitment to fulfilling promises. The monarch also expressed appreciation for the ongoing renovation of the ancient Eleruwa Palace.

Oba Adegbola prayed for continued divine guidance and strength for the governor to further advance the progress of Oyo State.
