The Zakat and Sadaqah Foundation (ZSF), Ibadan/Ibarapa Zone, has continued its advocacy for poverty alleviation and socio-economic empowerment with a strategic visit to the Deputy Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Muhammad Fadeyi.
During the courtesy visit held at the Assembly complex in Ibadan, the ZSF delegation emphasized the importance of Zakah as a tool for promoting wealth redistribution, social justice, and support for the less privileged in society. The team outlined ongoing and planned initiatives aimed at reducing poverty and enhancing the welfare of vulnerable groups across Oyo State.
In his response, Hon. Fadeyi commended the Foundation for its humanitarian efforts and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that uplift the needy and strengthen community development. He lauded ZSF’s contributions to social welfare, noting that such interventions complement government efforts toward a more equitable society.
