OBF Founder, Oloye Akika Welcomes All to November, Maolud Nabiyy Celebration

As the month of November begins, the Founder of the Omituntun Benedict Forum (OBF), Oloye Benedict Akika, extends warm greetings and heartfelt wishes to all Nigerians and well-wishers, while inviting the public to the Maolud Nabiyy celebration scheduled for Thursday, 6th November 2025.

The event, themed “The Blessing of the Birth of Prophet” – known in Yoruba as “Ike ti o wa ninu ojo ibi Anobi” – is organized to honor the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and reflect on the timeless values, compassion, and guidance inspired by his life.

The Maolud lecture will be delivered by renowned Islamic scholar, Sheik Hamad Labeeb, also popularly referred to as Baba Lagbaji (Ijoba).

The occasion will be chaired by Hon. Morenikeji Mudasiru Kamorudeen, the Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, while Alhaji Salau Olalekan Majeed, the Borokini Adini of Ibolo Kingdom, will play host at the gathering.

As Chief Host, Oloye Akika Benedict, Agbaakin of Olorunda-Abaa, philanthropist, and cultural icon encourages the Muslim Ummah, residents of Ibadan, and all lovers of peace and unity to come together in thanksgiving and praise.

The event is set to hold at the serene environment of 22, Delight Estate, Lakuru, Idi Ape Bus Stop, Olorunda-Abaa, Akobo Ojurin, Ibadan, starting from 11:00 a.m.

In his new month message to 9ja News 24/7, Oloye Akika thanked God for the gift of life and urged everyone to embrace the spirit of brotherhood, tolerance, and communal support while looking forward to a season of peace and spiritual upliftment.
