At the heart of this transformation is the Executive Adviser to the Governor of Oyo State on International Cooperation and Development, and the pioneer Director-General of the Oyo State Agribusiness Development Agency (OYSADA), led by Dr. Debo Akande, a distinguished Agribusiness strategist, specialist and development policy expert whose innovative approach has repositioned Oyo State as a National model in Agricultural modernization.

For over 30 years, the Moor Plantation Facility in Apata, Ibadan, stood as a relic of unrealized Agricultural potential. Today, through the strategic intervention of OYSADA and a lease partnership with the Niji Group, that story has changed dramatically.
The facility has been transformed into a modern Agricultural equipment fabrication centre, breathing new life into what was once an abandoned state asset. This transformation is not only symbolic of renewal — it has practical and measurable impacts that extend across Oyo State and beyond.
1. Job Creation and Skills Development:
The revived facility now directly employs skilled and semi-skilled workers — welders, engineers, technicians, and fabricators — while indirectly supporting hundreds more through the value chain. It also serves as a training ground for young agro-engineers and vocational trainees, creating a pool of local expertise in machinery production and maintenance.
2. Empowerment of Farmers:
By producing and assembling modern farming tools locally, farmers now have affordable access to high-quality equipment, reducing dependence on imported machines and cutting down production costs. This has led to increased productivity and profitability for small and medium-scale farmers.
3. Industrial Growth and Local Manufacturing:
