The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Oyo State Chapter, led by its Chairman, Comrade Eniola O. Alex, paid a courtesy visit earlier Wednesday October 15 to the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Oyo State Directorate.

The visit aimed at fostering stronger collaboration between both institutions in the areas of youth development, civic education, and public awareness on government policies.

The NOA, a federal agency responsible for communicating government policies to the public, promoting national unity and patriotism, and serving as a feedback channel from citizens to the government, plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between governance and the populace.

During the engagement, discussions focused on strengthening ties between NOA and NYCN as the umbrella body for all youth groups in Oyo State. The NYCN delegation emphasized the need for consistent access to current government policies, especially those that affect young people, to enable effective sensitization and mobilization of the youth constituency.

Comrade Eniola O. Alex – Chairman National Youth Council of Nigeria- Oyo State Chapter expressed appreciation to the State Director of NOA, Mrs. Akande Ajolayo, and other officials of the Agency for their warm reception and the spirit of partnership extended to the Council.

The visit reaffirmed the commitment of NYCN Oyo State  for continuous collaboration with government institutions in driving youth inclusion and promoting national values across the state.
