Hon. Akinsunbo Igba-Otun Felicitates Nigerians on 65th Independence Anniversary

As Nigeria marks its 65th Independence Anniversary, Hon. (Chief) Akindipe Hammed Abiodun Akinsunbo, popularly known as Igba-Otun, has extended heartfelt greetings to citizens, calling for unity, resilience, and renewed patriotism in building a greater nation.

Chief Akinsunbo, who currently serves as the Supervisory Councillor for Works in Ibadan NorthWest Local Government, described the anniversary as a significant reminder of the country’s journey through challenges, sacrifices, and triumphs.

In his goodwill message, the Mayegun of Eleyele/Arometa, Ward 11, Ibadan NorthWest, emphasized that despite the hurdles facing the nation, Nigerians have continued to demonstrate uncommon strength, courage, and hope for a brighter tomorrow.

He lauded the visionary leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, commending his people-centered policies and developmental strides which have continued to positively transform the lives of citizens across the state.

He urged citizens to remain steadfast in their contributions to national development, while commending Governor Seyi Makinde for his visionary leadership in Oyo State, which he noted stands as a model of progress and people-oriented governance.

Chief Akinsunbo prayed for peace, prosperity, and stability for Nigeria, expressing optimism that the country’s democracy will continue to deepen and deliver dividends to the people.
