Igbo Community/Non-Indigenes Congratulates Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja on His Coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland

The Igbo Community/NonIndigenes, through Hon. Tallest Innocent, Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on Community Relations, joyfully congratulates His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja (ARUSA I), former Senator and former Governor of Oyo State, on his historic coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

In a statement issued at Mapo Hall, the venue of the grand coronation, Hon. Tallest Innocent described Oba Ladoja as “a rare statesman, visionary leader, revered elder, and divinely favored son, whose ascension to the revered stool of the Olubadan is a blessing not only to Ibadanland but to Oyo State and the World at large.”

Tallest recalled Oba Ladoja’s enduring contributions to the political, socio-economic, and cultural advancement of Oyo State, especially his passion for equity, fairness, and justice, coupled with his exemplary resilience and leadership which have continued to inspire generations.

He further expressed optimism that the reign of Oba Ladoja will consolidate the cultural heritage and traditional values of Ibadanland, while complementing the developmental strides of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration—OMITUNTUN 1.0 on accelerated development and OMITUNTUN 2.0 on sustainable growth.

Finally, Tallest prayed for the monarch’s long life, sound health, and glorious reign, and reaffirmed the commitment of the Igbo Community/Non-Indigenes to continued partnership with traditional institutions in Oyo State to promote harmony, peace, and grassroots progress.
