Chief Akinsunbo (Igba-Otun) Felicitates Olubadan Ladoja at 81st Birthday and Coronation

Hon. (Chief) Akindipe Hammed Abiodun Akinsunbo, popularly known as Igba-Otun and the Supervisory Councillor for Works in Ibadan NorthWest Local Government, has extended warm felicitations to His Imperial Majesty, His Excellency Oba (Sen.) Rashidi Adewolu Akanmu Ladoja (Arusa I), the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland, on the joyous occasion of his 81st birthday on September 25 and his official coronation by the Oyo State Government on September 26.

In his goodwill message, Chief Akinsunbo, who also holds the revered chieftaincy title of Mayegun of Eleyele/Arometa, Ward 11, Ibadan NorthWest, described Oba Ladoja as a rare gem, a living legend, and a quintessential statesman whose life embodies service, wisdom, and unifying leadership. He noted that the ascension of Oba Ladoja to the ancient throne of Ibadanland is a divine blessing, not only to Ibadan but also to Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.

Chief Akinsunbo prayed for long life, sound health, and a reign of peace, progress, and prosperity for the newly enthroned monarch. He further expressed confidence that Olubadan Ladoja’s reign will usher in unprecedented harmony and development in Ibadanland, while serving as a beacon of hope and inspiration to future generations.
