Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party and renowned humanitarian, has congratulated the Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on attaining 81 years in good health and sound mind.
In a statement made available to Polity Reporters in Ibadan today, Bibire praised his life of service, noting that Oba Ladoja’s trajectory has been characterized by untainted, diligent, and distinguished contributions to his state, his nation, and humanity.
He described the celebrant as a man who made an indelible impact as a technocrat in development circles, a policy and boardroom guru, a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and Executive Governor of Oyo State.
He added that Oba Ladoja, as a respected first class monarch and a statesman, remains deeply committed and passionate about the growth and progress of his state, the South West region, and Nigeria as a whole.
Bibire recalled that Senator Ladoja proved his worth during his time in the National Assembly with well researched and highly detailed motions and debates delivered in clear and simple language, which, according to him, added great value to the polity, and bagged him respect from colleagues and praise from Nigerians.
He further stated that Oyo State remains proud of Oba Ladoja and will always draw from his rich experience, especially through his impactful interventions in economic planning, welfare of workers, and other development efforts during his time as Governor.
While wishing the incoming Olubadan of Ibadanland many happy returns, Bibire prayed to God to grant him long life, sound health, and more success as he is crowned tomorrow as Olubadan and continues his service to humanity.
“On behalf of my family and the members of Bibire Peoples Vision Association, I want to use this occasion to wish the highly cerebral politician and respected monarch a happy birthday, praying that God Almighty will continue to strengthen and uphold him in the years ahead,” Bibire ended.
